Morco Fresh walks into every customer conversation already knowing the answer

Project Harvest replaces six disconnected systems with one governed data platform on Microsoft Fabric, so commercial, operations, and service teams lead with the complete picture instead of stitching one together after the fact.

The problem

Fresh produce moves fast, and the questions move faster. A customer wants to know why their cost changed: did the market shift, or did their own product mix? A supplier wants the same clarity from the other side. Every account team wants to know, in the moment, how reliably its customers and suppliers are being served.

Morco Fresh had the data to answer all of it. The trouble was where it lived. ERP and finance sat in Pronto and Cognos. Fleet and logistics in Microlise. Customer relationships in Zoho CRM. Safety and compliance in SafetyCulture. Workforce in Tanda. Each system was the truth for its own slice of the business, and none of them talked to the others in a governed way. A defensible answer meant reconstructing it afterward, which is exactly the wrong moment for a relationship business.

What Rocket is building

Project Harvest consolidates every core system into a single governed platform on Microsoft Fabric, migrated to schedule and validated against source on the way in. The build runs on a Medallion Architecture, which gives Morco Fresh a clean, auditable path from raw operational data to decision-ready insight:

  • Bronze. Raw data ingested as-is from all five source systems, preserving a full, validated record.
  • Silver. Cleansed and conformed models that reconcile those systems into one business view.
  • Gold. Curated, reporting-ready datasets powering Power BI for commercial, operations, and service teams.

Around the architecture: enterprise ETL pipelines on a reliable scheduled cadence, CI/CD automation so the platform evolves safely as the business grows, role-based security that puts the right data in front of the right people and no one else, and a structured knowledge transfer to Morco Fresh's internal BI team so the platform is theirs to own and extend.

Rocket's architects and engineers build with AI in the loop throughout. That discipline is what lets the team move quickly without trading away quality, and validate every migration against source rather than assume it.

Why it matters

Better reporting is the mechanism. Better service is the point. In a business built on relationships, the platform underneath is invisible to the customer, and that is exactly right. Morco Fresh's teams do not need to talk about pipelines or medallion layers. They need to walk into every conversation with the answer already in hand. Project Harvest also leaves behind a scalable, AI-ready Fabric foundation, so the next phase (advanced analytics, agentic workflows) starts from a trusted base rather than another integration project.

“One of the most challenging decisions I've made in my career was choosing the right partner to help unlock Morco's data and automation potential. The Rocket Partners team has been sharp, disciplined, and professional throughout the process. We couldn't have made a better choice in selecting a partner to bring technology from the cloud into the office.”
— Mark Kabbara, Chief Financial Officer, Morco Fresh

Project Harvest is in flight. Rocket is honored to be part of Morco Fresh's modernization and looks forward to what the platform makes possible next.
